From the moment you walk through the doors at QSI, we strive to provide your child a superior education in a setting that feels like family. QSI International School of Zhuhai is a non-profit, co-educational day school for students from 2 years of age through Secondary graduation. The school serves expatriate families living in Zhuhai and the surrounding areas, and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges.
QSI International School of Zhuhai is the oldest international school in Zhuhai, having been established in 1999. Our caring faculty is recruited from native-English speaking countries, and holds certifications in their core content areas. We offer a combination of small class sizes coupled with a performance-based, Mastery Learning approach. This ensures that students receive the attention and personalization needed to achieve success at any level.
As we focus on the whole child, we also introduce and teach Success Orientations (SOs) throughout the classroom and school. As the QSI Zhuhai Jaguars we are TRACKING through the SOs which include Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Aesthetic Appreciation, Concern for Others, Kindness and Politeness, Independent Endeavor and Group Interaction.
Students engage in a rigorous academic schedule including core classes in: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Cultural Studies and Science. We also offer a full range of specialist courses and electives, including Art, Music, Physical Education, Computer Technology and Chinese Language. In additional to our in school activities and opportunities taking place, we also offer after school activities beginning with the 5 year old students. Our Secondary students have access to Advanced Placement (AP) courses in a variety of subject areas, providing a challenging course of study culminating in graduation. Our graduates attend universities worldwide.
We hope you take the time to learn more about our school and organization. We believe that our unique program offers your child an unparalleled opportunity, and we look forward to you joining our family.

TESTIMONIALS
QSI is a very kid friendly school. I love the individual help I get from teachers.
QSI provides quality curriculum that I have the freedom to implement with creativity and projects to support mastery learning. I strongly believe in the Success Orientations, and I use these throughout the classroom. QSI provides a caring environment to staff, students and families.
QSI provides a caring environment for my children to thrive. I love the personal attention they get throughout the year. As we have been in multiple schools throughout the world, QSI is a place that is very accepting and my kids are quick to feel at home with school and friends.
We love the atmosphere that QSI provides for our children. The curriculum is in alignment with what would be expected in the US. The teachers are caring, and my children find great friends. We like the model of Success Orientations being taught which provides the building blocks of life.
I enjoy working for QSI. My fellow colleagues are enthusiastic, dedicated and family-oriented people. The TSWs provide a very clear understanding for the teacher and students. I enjoy the freedom to each and manage my classroom in the way that works best for the students and myself.
When I first joined QSI I was extremely nervous as it was my first time living in a different country and my first time attending an international school. My fears were quickly eradicated as I was welcomed into a warm environment filled with supportive and friendly people. This type of environment helped me to become a more confident and outgoing individual. Not only is the school filled with amiable students, the teachers are also in tune with the needs of the student. The pupil-teacher ratio provides plenty of opportunity for one-on-one tutoring which has been instrumental in the advancement of my studies. Overall my time in QSI has proved to be a very rewarding experience.
QSI Shenzhen has been an easy transition for my children from the American curriculum they were used to in the US. I like to see the kids thinking and learning outside the box. My children really enjoy being able to participate in the different activity classes that help them explore hobbies that they might not otherwise get to try like 3D printing, STEM challenges, badminton, or Dragon TV. My children are happier here than they’ve been at any other school we’ve been to, abroad or at home. And that is what I love the most.
I chose QSI as a place of employment and a school for my child because it is a globally minded community committed to empowering individuals. The teachers respect each child’s personality, individual learning styles, and cultural background. They deeply care about student self-worth, achievement, and instilling the love of lifelong learning. In addition, the academic challenges of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, coupled with a wide range of enrichment programs are options to chose from to prepare students to be successful in the future.
