My name is Marty Curry and I am proud to be the Athletic Director/Activities Coordinator for Kyiv International School.
Kyiv International School offers a wide range of activities and athletics that enable students to compete, travel, and develop life skills outside of the classroom. During one of three seasons, Fall, Winter, or Spring, students may take part in team sports such as soccer or basketball, or more individual challenges through the cross-country or tennis teams. Activities for Middle School and Secondary students include Robotics programs, Mathematics competitions, and Model United Nations conferences, to name a few. Artistic events such as Drama Festivals, Choir, and Band competitions are also available to students at KIS.
As members of CEESA (Central and Eastern European Schools Association), students at KIS have the opportunity to discover different cultures while competing in CEESA sponsored events across Europe. KIS also plays host to international competitions giving our students an opportunity to host visiting students from around the world. Many teams at KIS have established leagues with local schools, allowing them the opportunity to compete head-to-head in preparation for these CEESA events. If you have questions about any of our programs please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to seeing you—and hearing you—at our home games, cheering on our KIS Kozaks.
