The following elementary course offerings are provided as an example of scope and sequence for an average QSI school. Each QSI school will modify the course offerings according to local needs and requirements. Some schools may offer further courses to be made available through the QSI Distance Learning Program.
5 Year-Old Class
- Mathematics

6 Year-Old Through 11 Year-Old Classes
1. Core Courses
- Mathematics

- Languages Other Than English (Foreign Languages)
2. Electives (after 1:30 p.m.)
- Host Language (native and non-native)
- Instrumental Music (9-11 year-old)
- American Studies – 2 days/week
- Activities – 2 days/week
* A class for native speakers of a language other than English may be offered if there are about 10 students for the class and a teacher can be hired locally in the community. (Example: Dutch studies for Dutch students or German studies for German Students.)

As appropriate, some students in the 12 and 13 year-old classes may take secondary level courses and receive secondary credit. If a student leaves a QSI school before entering the secondary school, a letter will be attached to the student’s evaluation form (status report) indicating the secondary level of work in which the student was involved.
