Tirana International School strives to create an environment in which students achieve exceptional academic, personal and physical goals. The Middle States Association is a worldwide leader in accreditation and school improvement. For over 125 years, Middle States has been helping school leaders establish and reach their goals, develop strategic plans, promote staff development and advance student achievement.
The Tirana International School has been accredited by the Middle States Association since 1999. The school maintains its accreditation with MSA through a continual process of identifying areas for growth and implementing a community supported action plan to push the boundaries of success and achievement in those areas.

What is Mastery Learning?
Mastery Learning is an educational approach in which students must achieve mastery of a subject before moving forward to learn subsequent information about that subject; learning builds on established understanding. Students are given the time and support they need to reach mastery.

We very much appreciated the flexibility of TIS in enrolling our son even though he joined later in the academic year. Our son started without any English and within a few months we could see the incredible progress he made thanks to intensive English classes and teachers' devotion.
