QSI Aktau has academic programs and materials for all levels, from pre-K through graduation. Core subject instruction is offered by Western-certified, native English speaking teachers.
3- and 4-year-olds program (Preschool)
Our preschool features academic, social, and developmental skills appropriate to the child’s age. Activities include song and rhyme learning, alphabet and phonics training, beginning writing and pre-reading, as well as art, music, and physical education. Students attend for the full school day.
5-year-olds to 12-year-olds program
Students in this age group receive an academic program that focuses on important academic knowledge. The core subjects include reading, writing, mathematics, science, and cultural studies. Students are evaluated regularly using a reading level indicator to make sure that they are advancing, and so that instruction can be adjusted as needed. Twice a year students are tested using the NWEA’s MAP assessment to further track their growth. Instruction in art, music, physical education, technology, library, and language is also included.
13-year-olds through 18-year-olds program
Our secondary students are taught by specialty subject area teachers in a mixed platform mode. Courses include writing, literature, mathematics, science, art, technology, and music. Some higher-level classes (Such as AP Calculus) are offered via remote learning using our QSI online instruction program. Curriculum and instruction is available for children of all age levels.
