The Panther Pause

Volume 4, Issue 4
30 September 2017
The Back to School Picnic, sponsored by the Parent Support Group, was a big success.   Mr. Crawford’s band was great, the food brought by everyone was spectacular and the weather was perfect.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.  Special thanks to the PSG for sponsoring,  Ms  Michala, the cleaning staff and kitchen staff for all their efforts!
The next PSG event is the Fall Festival.  It is going to be great, so plan to volunteer if you can, and definitely plan to attend this fun event.
The 10 YO assembly on September 27th highlighted all the 10 YO’s explaining the Success Orientations to the rest of the elementary school.  There was also a musical component to the program.  Great job, 10 YO’s!
The Secondary IV students kicked off the MS/Secondary assemblies for the year with skits about starting school.  Apparently even at 5 YO’s their personalities came through.  They also have the last assembly of the year, just before they graduate!
Worchester Poly Technic and University of British Columbia are both visiting QSIT soon.  Mr. Martin has scheduled many other universities to come and speak to the students, so please encourage your secondary students to join the information topics.
Students and teachers are very busy with their classes, there are many exciting things happening at QSIT!
