QSI Systems Accreditation
The Middle States Association (MSA) visiting team that visited QSI in May 2021 has recommended us for accreditation as a school system! The MSA visit to QSI and the following 8 schools went extremely well:
• QSI International School of Chengdu
• QSI International School of Dongguan
• QSI International School of Kosovo
• QSI International School of Phuket
• QSI International School of Suriname
• QSI International School of El Tigre
• Ashgabat International School
• Kyiv International School
The MSA team will visit the 28 other QSI schools during the 2021-2022 school year.
The visiting team was impressed with the educational program we offer including our learning support system, the resources that we use to support student learning, and the work we have done to ensure that our schools have been functioning as smoothly as possible during COVID. The team recommended accreditation with four stipulations, with all stipulations related to health and safety policies. We are already working to get the necessary policies in place by the start of the 2021-2022 school year so that, before the final MSA decision, we can be recommended for full accreditation by 1 December, 2021.
We recorded the MSA team’s oral report—you can click here to watch.
Thank you to everyone in the QSI community for all for all you do to support the accreditation process at your schools!
Next year, there will be an opportunity for educators and staff from QSI schools to participate in Level I Child Protection Training. This is an exciting coordinated effort between QSI and the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC)!
In the meantime, our schools will be following all policies and procedures in the Child Safeguarding and Protection Handbook. If parents have any questions about child protection, please talk to the school director or your child’s teacher.
