QSI Dongguan is approved for administering the SAT & PSAT. We are a “closed” school meaning that by host country law we are permitted to administer these tests to QSI International School of Dongguan students only.
What are these tests?
SAT: The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is the most widely given and accepted standardized test for college admissions. It is generally offered 5–6 times per year on campus (see calendar for exact dates). Students generally take this in their S3 and first trimester of their S4 year. These scores are integral to the college admission process.
SAT Test dates for 2014–15 school year:
2014—October 11th, November 8th, December 6th
2015—May 2nd, June 6th
PSAT: The PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a test generally given to S2 students to gauge their preparedness for the SAT. All students are required to take this test at QSI Dongguan unless parent consent is given to opt out, or the student is still in Intensive English. The test is administered once a year in October (see calendar for exact date).
