    Dear Parents,

We are entering the final few weeks of school, and what a busy time it is! QSI hosted the CISA Gala Day last Thursday, and I would like to thank all our teachers and parents for making this event enjoyable and fun. Mr. Smith is preparing a Mars habitat on the field, and he is inviting classes to come check out what life on Mars would be like for human colonizers. Please feel free to stop by.

As everyone is gradually winding down units in the classroom, our fine arts department is shifting into high gear. We have many fantastic performances to look forward to, and I invite everyone to come out and join us for these wonderful events. Please consult our school calendar  and watch our for more announcements. (https://www.qsi.org/china/cdu/parent-resources/calendars/school-calendars/

Last weekend we had two CISA tournaments, the middle school basketball at Meishi and the high school soccer at Leman. Thank you to our hosts. Our teams played hard and showed good sportsmanship. We had some great triumphs (congratulations middle school girls basketball) and some bitter defeats (2nd place to our high school boys soccer team after double over time), but most of all I wish to thank all our coaches and volunteers for leading these team efforts. The dedication and commitment you all have shown over the course of the year is just one more reason why we are so proud to be Red Eagles. Well done!

We can not thank Mr. Chad Williams, The Barn, teachers, staff, ayis, guards, parents, our community, and our partners enough for all their support in making Earth Day such a huge success this year!  I hope everyone was able to attend and find new and exciting ways to improve and conserve our wonderful environment.  Several people flew in from Beijing just see what we were doing and they were thoroughly impressed.  The British Commerce representatives from Beijing stated that this was the largest Earth Day event in China.  We may be a small school, but we are making huge waves not only in Chengdu, but in China as well.  Thank you once again for making this event a "Success for All."
