Secondary Levels I-IV (14- to 18-year-olds)

The QSI Secondary program prepares students for colleges and universities in countries around the world. The rigorous academic program consists of Mathematics, Laboratory Science (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry), World Cultural Studies and History, World Literature, English Grammar, Art, Music, Physical Education, Chinese, and Computer Literacy. Elective courses such as music, art, drama, or photography are available.

Advanced Placement Courses are offered in Literature, Cultural Studies, Mathematics, various Sciences, and Chinese. As of August 2015, students may choose to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Four QSI Diplomas are offered: IB Diploma, Academic Diploma with Honors, Academic, and General.  

QSI International School of Chengdu follows an American-style college-preparatory curriculum including Advanced Placement (AP) classes. During the 2013–14 academic year the school is offering AP courses in Chinese, World History, U.S. History, Biology, Literature, Calculus, Psychology, Chemistry, and Physics. The school endeavors to provide its students with a program that accommodates students at varying levels of ability. All students pursuing higher education in the United States, Australia, Europe, and around the world will be able to transition with a solid foundation that will prepare them for success at the next level.
