It is hard to believe this month is already coming to end. November has been an exciting month filled with many activities and events. We are looking forward to a flurry of events in the coming weeks. Students, teachers, parents, and staff have been busy, busy, busy planning for upcoming events.

Please remember, the date of the Winter Concert has been changed to Thursday, December 7th to avoid any conflict with the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar. The concert will begin at 6:30. However, all performers should arrive by 6:00. Performers should wear festive, yet formal clothing for the performance. ALL QSIS students (whether performing or not) are expected to attend. PSG is asking all parents to volunteer. Please sign-up at the link provided in this edition of the newsletter.

Whether you are celebrating Statehood Day, Thanksgiving, or another event, we wish all our QSI families a safe, fun, and relaxing long weekend.

The entire QSIS teaching staff returned from Montenegro Saturday evening. QSI Sarajevo joined three other QSI international schools (Tirana, Montenegro, and Kosovo) to participate in workshops, collaborate with colleagues, and continue to build their teaching skills. Please note, the date of the Winter Concert has been changed to Thursday, December 7th to avoid any conflicts with the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar. The concert will begin at 6:30. However, all performers should arrive by 6:00. Performers should wear festive, yet formal clothing for the performance. All QSIS students are expected to attend. I hope everyone is enjoying an extended weekend. Please remember students will be dismissed at 11:30 on Wednesday, November 1 and school will NOT be in session on Thursday, November 2 and Friday, November 3. All teachers and staff will be attending professional learning sessions in Montenegro next week.

Our Fall Festival was a hit! A great time was had by all. Parents lined the hallways and filled the classrooms during parent-teacher conferences last week, and our PSG pulled off another amazing Book Swap. These are only a few examples of the many activities and events taking place weekly that support the overall learning of our students.

It takes so many to make our school and community successful, from the the teachers and staff to our fantastic Parent Support Group (PSG) to our dedicated Advisory Board to the parents who support the continuous learning and growth of our students and school on a daily basis. I am very proud of the unique learning environment and community we have built and thank you for contributing to the success of our school.
