Welcome to QSI International School of Belize

Dear Families and Friends of QSI Belize,
Welcome to the new school year! How exciting to have our student population grow so your children have more peers to interact with. This creates a completely different atmosphere for our students especially those in middle school and secondary. With more interaction, comes more friends…hopefully…and more classroom discussions.

We also have some new teachers on staff. Returning to the school this year to teach mathematics and science to our middle school and secondary students. Please welcome Mr. Dan Underwood. We have a new teacher to our school but not to QSI teaching literature and history to middle school and secondary students. Please welcome Mrs. Mar Robillard. We have a roaming paraprofessional to work with students who need additional assistance and to relieve our preschool teacher in the afternoon so she can have a break. We welcome Ms. Arnesha Sosa.

In trying to beat the heat, we have installed some sunshades around the school to give students protected areas from the sun. We still have to purchase a bit more to make some shade areas over sections of the field. This will give the students a reprieve from the hot sun. I hope you have looked around the campus to see the changes.

Again, welcome to the 2019 – 2020 school year. I am excited to be a part of the QSI Belize family and am expecting some great results from our amazing teachers and students. Please come to the school to see all the exciting things happening in your children’s classrooms.

Warm Regards,

Linda Souders
