Beyond our rigorous educational curriculum, the Success Orientations of Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Kindness & Politeness, Independent Endeavor, Aesthetic Appreciation, Group Interaction, and Concern for Others keep our school focused on positive character development throughout the year. These traits are taught and integrated into all aspects of QSI life.
English is the language of instruction. Intensive English (IE) classes are provided for students who enter QSI and have not yet learned the English language. These IE classes are small so that the students can have special “intensive” lessons to quicken their mastery of the English Language. We also offer rich extracurricular options such as sports, art, music, and drama both during the school day and after school.
We welcome you to our campus and see our school’s community. You will find at QSI International school of Atyrau, “We Care!”
Sincerely,

TESTIMONIALS
This school is different because of its small yet welcoming community. It made me more open minded and knowledgeable. QSI has given me a new learning and social experiences that will stay with me in the future.
We like especially the warm, friendly and caring atmosphere of QSI school in Atyrau and our children come home happily after school basically every day.
I can feel the teachers and administrators put a tremendous amount of effort into the school community, my children are feeling safe, happy and love to go to school at all time.
Teaching at QSI Atyrau for three years has been wonderful. My young students from various countries and cultures consistently impress me. This is my first QSI school, and I arrived to find an extremely well-resourced classroom, a rigorous curriculum for each subject, rubrics for each unit which help my students and I stay on a path towards mastery, and an interactive board to make l.earning more fun and memorable for children who are digital natives. Having an expert paraprofessional in the classroom is another enormous benefit. Professional development has been more applicable than I was previously used to, and I have learned more about incorporating technology into my teaching and my students’ learning each year that I’ve been here. I am also taking advantage of QSI’s graduate studies program for teachers by taking online courses with a cohort of QSI teachers from all over the world
When I first joined QSI I was extremely nervous as it was my first time living in a different country and my first time attending an international school. My fears were quickly eradicated as I was welcomed into a warm environment filled with supportive and friendly people. This type of environment helped me to become a more confident and outgoing individual. Not only is the school filled with amiable students, the teachers are also in tune with the needs of the student. The pupil-teacher ratio provides plenty of opportunity for one-on-one tutoring which has been instrumental in the advancement of my studies. Overall my time in QSI has proved to be a very rewarding experience.
QSI Shenzhen has been an easy transition for my children from the American curriculum they were used to in the US. I like to see the kids thinking and learning outside the box. My children really enjoy being able to participate in the different activity classes that help them explore hobbies that they might not otherwise get to try like 3D printing, STEM challenges, badminton, or Dragon TV. My children are happier here than they’ve been at any other school we’ve been to, abroad or at home. And that is what I love the most.
I chose QSI as a place of employment and a school for my child because it is a globally minded community committed to empowering individuals. The teachers respect each child’s personality, individual learning styles, and cultural background. They deeply care about student self-worth, achievement, and instilling the love of lifelong learning. In addition, the academic challenges of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, coupled with a wide range of enrichment programs are options to chose from to prepare students to be successful in the future.
