Welcome to Almaty International School!

For the past 25 years, AIS has been a fixture in the international community of Almaty.  Our families expect a rigorous, high quality educational program to prepare for the challenges of an ever-changing global environment.  Our students have achieved tremendous success over the years and have been accepted to the top colleges and universities around the world.  Offerings like the Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone Diploma Program help distinguish our students in a competitive academic environment.

This success begins with a caring and inviting environment.  Our many after school activities, music, and sports programs provide our students with opportunities to achieve beyond the traditional classroom setting.  Student involvement is encouraged as this helps to provide a full educational experience.

Our Pre-School and Elementary programs provide a nurturing environment that fosters positive growth and development.  The learning process can be challenging and rigorous while being age-appropriate in response to the cognitive and social development of each child.  Our highly qualified teachers set high expectations for each student and provide the resources, environment, and support needed for success.

I invite you to visit our school to see what AIS has to offer.  Feel free to contact me or anyone on our staff if you have any questions.

Warm regards,
Dr. Jason W. Craig
