Week Without Walls is an adventure based, experiential education program offered to Middle School and Secondary School students at Kyiv International School.

During the program, students spend a week outside the campus walls participating in a wide range of physically and emotionally challenging activities including caving, cycling, farming, horseback riding, rafting, rock climbing, sailing, service learning, touring, trekking and windsurfing.

Our Middle School Week Without Walls programs are focused on cultural awareness and team building as students explore the historically rich cities of Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv and Lviv.

Our Secondary Week Without Walls programs are focused on personal growth and leadership development as students challenge themselves during a variety of activities that take place in Ukraine's beaches, forests, mountains, and rivers.

In addition to cultural and recreational activities, each Week Without Walls course has a service component.

Students who successfully complete a Week Without Walls course are eligible to receive academic credit either through one of the QSI Experiential Learning, Cultural Studies, or Physical Education Lifetime Sports curriculums.

Course details and dates for the 2018-2019 school year will be announced on Friday, February, 2019 in the Kozak Korner and published on this page.

If you have any questions before then or if you are a member of our campus community and you would like to be involved in the program, please feel free to contact me.
