QSI International School of Ljubljana, a private non-profit institution that opened in September of 1995, offers high quality education in the English language from pre-school through secondary 4 (17 years of age). The new facility is located in park like surroundings with sports fields, indoor tennis facility and forested areas. The glass foyer brings the beauty of our surroundings throughout the school. The glass-roofed art room with glass walls allows our students to feel as though they are working outdoors. Classrooms, library, and computer lab are networked with the latest technology. The school facility is connected to a 1000 sq meter sports hall, fitness gym, and lounge area.

The school's educational philosophy, which includes a personalized approach to instruction, leads to teaching for mastery. We believe in success for all students. We seek to create a positive learning environment since we believe a child learns more if he enjoys his learning experience.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of the school is to meet the needs of the children in Ljubljana who require this type of education with a view to continuing their education in their home countries with a minimum of adjustment problems. This program is also offered to Slovenian citizens who seek this education with a view to higher studies outside of Slovenia. In addition to its scholastic goals, the school endeavors to provide its students with knowledge of Slovenia.

THE CURRICULUM includes English (reading, grammar, composition, and spelling), mathematics, cultural studies (history, geography, economics, etc.), science, computer literacy, art, music, and physical education as part of the regular program. Slovene culture and language are a part of every student's program of studies. Students participate in afternoon activities several days a week. Field trips are planned as part of the curriculum. Textbooks are loaned to students without charge.

QSI International School of Ljubljana has accreditation through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
