School & Community
QSI International School of Montenegro, is a private non-profit institution that opened in January of 2006 and offers a high quality education in the English language for elementary and secondary students. The warm and welcoming school community make it an ideal place to receive a quality education from QSI. In March of 2014, QSIM received a full licence from the Ministry of Education of Montenegro as a school of public significance, for all the levels of education.
QSI International School of Montenegro currently serves students age 3 through age 18 and has an enrollment of 57. The students of QSI International School of Montenegro represent 17 countries from around the world, providing the school with a wonderfully diverse learning environment. We welcome pre-school, elementary, and secondary students to our school and are prepared to provide a well-qualified teaching staff, a rigorous pre-school thru secondary curriculum, and necessary materials where needed.
The school facilities are located in a brand new purpose built school building. All classrooms are around 55 squared meters with plenty of natural light. There are many specialized rooms: a big cafeteria with a stage, science lab, computer lab, art and music rooms.
There is a large green field behind the building. There is a playground structure with swings, slides and climbing walls occupying a part of the field. A different part of the field is reserved for a soccer field with a running track.
In addition to the regular Quality Schools International curriculum, QSI International School of Montenegro offers students the opportunity to study French and Montenegrin. There are also opportunities for students to participate in other school activities, extra-curricular activities, and community activities including martial arts, circus, cooking, choir, ballet, piano lessons, zumba, painting, travel club, weightlifting, tennis and drama.
QSI International School of Montenegro employs qualified and professional teachers who love teaching. Currently there are 10 full time teachers plus 2 part time teachers. Assisting them, there are 1 paraprofessionals along with all of the other faculty members that are needed to provide a learning environment in line with QSI's goal of providing a quality education to all students.
In 2014, QSI International School of Montenegro was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has maintained that accreditation in good standing.
