QSI Almaty International School, is a private non-profit institution that opened in September of 1993 and offers a high quality education in the English language for elementary and secondary students. The warm and welcoming school community make it an ideal place to receive a quality education from QSI.
Almaty International School currently serves students age 3 through age 18 and has an enrollment of 518. The students of Almaty International School represent 45 countries from around the world, providing the school with a wonderfully diverse learning environment.
The school, a purpose-built facility that opened in January, 2003, is located on nearly seven hectares of land on the edge of the city.
In addition to the regular Quality Schools International curriculum, Almaty International School offers students the opportunity to study Kazakh, Russian, French, and Spanish. There are also opportunities for students to participate in other school activities, extra-curricular activities, and community activities including after school sports.
Almaty International School employs qualified and professional teachers who love teaching. Currently there are 119 full time teachers plus 0 part time teachers. Assisting them, there are 24 paraprofessionals along with all of the other faculty members that are needed to provide a learning environment in line with QSI's goal of providing a quality education to all students.
In 2007, Almaty International School was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has maintained that accreditation in good standing.
