QSI International School of Dili, is a private non-profit institution that opened in September of 2005 and offers a high quality education in the English language for elementary and secondary students. The warm and welcoming school community make it an ideal place to receive a quality education from QSI.
QSI International School of Dili currently serves students age 3 through age 17 and has an enrollment of 69. The students of QSI International School of Dili represent 20 countries from around the world, providing the school with a wonderfully diverse learning environment. We welcome pre-school, elementary, and secondary students to our school and are prepared to provide a well-qualified teaching staff, a rigorous pre-school thru secondary curriculum, and necessary materials where needed.
The school is housed in a brand new, fully air conditioned building conveniently located behind the Australian Embassy and has a large playground with a landscaped yard. The facility is conducive to small class size and individualized attention for which the QSI schools are known. Internet access and computers are provided for all grade levels for purposes of technology instruction, research and communications. The school is located inside a small compound, using 2 residences and 7 purpose built classrooms. The school has a large art room, a music room, covered lunch areas, a large playground, soccer field, basketball courts and a tennis court. There is a well-equipped computer lab containing 30 networked computers and continuous Internet access.
In addition to the regular Quality Schools International curriculum, QSI International School of Dili offers students the opportunity to study Tetun and French. There are also opportunities for students to participate in other school activities, extra-curricular activities, and community activities including basketball, soccer, tennis, and a variety of other after school activites.
QSI International School of Dili employs qualified and professional teachers who love teaching. Currently there are 12 full time teachers plus 0 part time teachers. Assisting them, there are 3 paraprofessionals along with all of the other faculty members that are needed to provide a learning environment in line with QSI's goal of providing a quality education to all students.
In 2012, QSI International School of Dili was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has maintained that accreditation in good standing.
