QSI International School of Yerevan, is a private non-profit institution that opened in September of 1995 and offers a high quality education in the English language for elementary and secondary students. The warm and welcoming school community make it an ideal place to receive a quality education from QSI.
QSI International School of Yerevan currently serves students age 3 through age 18 and has an enrollment of 122. The students of QSI International School of Yerevan represent 30 countries from around the world, providing the school with a wonderfully diverse learning environment. We welcome pre-school, elementary, and secondary students to our school and are prepared to provide a well-qualified teaching staff, a rigorous pre-school thru secondary curriculum, and necessary materials where needed.
The QSI International School of Yerevan operates in a new multi-purpose school facility located off the Ashtarak Highway near the Vahakni Subdivision. The new school facility includes 20 fully equipped classrooms. In addition, the new facility features a fully automated library with over 9400 volumes, an art room, music room, stage, computer lab, a science laboratory, and a kitchen/cafeteria. The school is situated on a landscaped tract of land with an outside playground, soccer field, and outdoor sports area. An indoor gym in the nearby Red Cross facility is used during the winter months. The school is secured with an outer security fence, gated security to the inner compound, and 24 hour building/grounds security.
In addition to the regular Quality Schools International curriculum, QSI International School of Yerevan offers students the opportunity to study Armenian, French, German and Russian. There are also opportunities for students to participate in other school activities, extra-curricular activities, and community activities including student council, math club, model United nations, cross county and track, chess, basketball and yearbook.
QSI International School of Yerevan employs qualified and professional teachers who love teaching. Currently there are 24 full time teachers plus 1 part time teachers. Assisting them, there are 6 paraprofessionals along with all of the other faculty members that are needed to provide a learning environment in line with QSI's goal of providing a quality education to all students.
In 2000, QSI International School of Yerevan was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has maintained that accreditation in good standing.
