QSI International School of Aktau, is a private non-profit institution that opened in August of 2006 and offers a high quality education in the English language for elementary and secondary students. The warm and welcoming school community make it an ideal place to receive a quality education from QSI.


QSI International School of Aktau currently serves students age 3 through age 13 and has an enrollment of 26. The students of QSI International School of Aktau represent 13 countries from around the world, providing the school with a wonderfully diverse learning environment. We welcome pre-school, elementary, and secondary students to our school and are prepared to provide a well-qualified teaching staff, a rigorous pre-school thru secondary curriculum, and necessary materials where needed.


School facilities consist of two buildings with seven classrooms, a science lab, a music room, library, indoor activity room, and office space. The school compound includes a playground area with children’s play equipment and an activity area for basketball and volleyball. The facilities are more than adequate for the current enrollment, and there is sufficient playground space for the students. Some teachers live onsite and others in nearby housing.


In addition to the regular Quality Schools International curriculum, QSI International School of Aktau offers students the opportunity to study Russian, Kazakh. There are also opportunities for students to participate in other school activities, extra-curricular activities, and community activities including ice skating, swimming, dance, and gymnastics.


QSI International School of Aktau employs qualified and professional teachers who love teaching. Currently there are 5 full time teachers plus 6 part time teachers. Assisting them, there are 2 paraprofessionals along with all of the other faculty members that are needed to provide a learning environment in line with QSI's goal of providing a quality education to all students.
