QSI International School of Malta, a private non-profit institution that opened in August of 2007. It is part of a world-wide organization of 37 QSI schools in 26 nations. The school offers a high quality education in the English language for ages 5 through 18 (high school diploma). The school is located in a beautiful gated villa on 10,000 square meters of land in central Malta. It contains spacious classrooms, an all-purpose room, laboratories, computer areas, playground area, athletic fields, and coops with the National Fitness Center and the University of Miami Online High School.

The school's educational philosophy, which includes a personalized approach to instruction, leads to the teaching of mastery, and success for all students. We maintain small classes and seek to create a positive learning environment since we know that students learn more if they enjoy their learning experiences.

The new director for QSI International School of Malta is Mr. John Lepetit, a licensed, award-winning international educator. He has had years of experience working with students of all ages from multiple ethnic and national backgrounds, and enjoys helping parents create the best possible home away from home atmosphere.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of the school is to meet the needs of the children in Malta who require this type of education with a view to continuing their education in their home countries with a minimum of adjustment problems. This program is also offered to Maltese citizens who seek this education with a view to higher studies outside of Malta. In addition to its scholastic goals, the school endeavors to provide its students with knowledge of Malta.

THE CURRICULUM includes English (reading, grammar, composition, and spelling), mathematics, cultural studies (history, geography, economics, etc.), science, foreign language, computer literacy, art, music, and physical education as part of the regular program. Maltese culture is a part of every student's program of studies. Students participate in afternoon activities several days a week. Field trips are planned as part of the curriculum. Textbooks are loaned to students without charge.

QSI schools gain their accreditation through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
