The students have been working hard on their presentations, the teachers have organized a great week of learning for students, and the PSG has arranged a great international dinner. Let’s start the fun! Here is the schedule for International Week, January 22 - 26: • Monday: All students are invited to “wear the colors of your flag” to school. • Tuesday: All students can wear a plain T-shirt to school where they can write “hello” and “good-bye” in many languages on the shirt. • Wednesday: Folktale Day Parents, grandparents, or friends are all invited to come and read/tell a traditional Folktale from a country. Contact your child’s teacher if you are able to come and share a story! • Thursday: Traditional Game Day will be sponsored by our PE teachers. However, if you would like to share an “inside” game with your child’s class, please contact your teacher. • Friday: INTERNATIONAL DAY o Students may come in their traditional colors or dress for the day. o 8:45-9:15 Parents will be setting up their country booths and 2-10 YO students will be in an assembly. o 9:15- 11:45 Country Booths will be opened for all 2-13 YO’s and parents. Please join us if you can. o 11:45 – 1 pm (Classrooms are cleaned up) Students will have class, lunch and recess. • Student “Home and Host Country” presentation schedule:

Friday Evening: The PSG is planning the International Night Potluck in the cafeteria at 6:30 pm. Please bring a dish to serve 8 if your family is attending, or if your country has organized what you are all bringing – GREAT! Water and juice will be available for children and beer and wine will be sold for parents. If you need more information contact Sarah Williamson.
