I hope everyone enjoyed Fall Break and found some time to relax and enjoy family. It is hard to believe November is around the corner. This time of year, at QSI, we are preparing for many events taking place in the coming weeks including one of our students' favorites... International Day! If you have not signed up to lead a country booth or a performance during the Opening Ceremony on Monday, November 19th, it's not too late. Please let us know by Friday!

Our middle school boys' soccer team will be leaving for Belgrade tomorrow to participate in a CEESA soccer tournament. We wish the team the best of luck. Wolfpack pride! The remaining middle and high school students can participate in our annual school Lock-in on Thursday night. All permission slips should be returned to Ms. Hatidza as soon as possible.

We kicked off our annual Read and Feed program with elementary students today during our elementary assembly. Over the past two years this excellent program has not only encouraged reading at QSI, but has funded the purchase of over 10,000 berry plants and an irrigation system in our local community. Proceeds of berry sales fund lunches for children in need living in our community. This year Read and Read proceeds will help build a new bee farm in Vogosca. Please see the information regarding this year's efforts, project, and proceeds included in this edition of the Howler. A copy of all information will also be sent home with your children tomorrow.
